TOGA Announces Board Changes and Welcomes New Finance Chair

Board of Directors - Catherine Sime

We are pleased to announce some exciting changes to the TOGA Board of Directors.

After four years of dedicated service as both Finance Chair and Secretary, Prof Michael Boyer AM will be stepping down from his board position. We extend our sincere gratitude to Michael for his invaluable knowledge, time, and dedication to TOGA during his tenure.

We are thrilled to welcome Catherine Sim as the incoming Finance Chair. Catherine is an accomplished finance leader with a proactive approach and a wealth of experience across the not-for-profit (NFP) and public sectors.

Catherine is a Fellow at CPA Australia and holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws. She is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Throughout her career, Catherine has consistently demonstrated her commitment to achieving organisational goals through effective financial stewardship and strategic leadership, fostering strong collaborative relationships with boards.

We are confident that Catherine’s expertise and leadership will be instrumental as we work together to fulfill TOGA’s vision of eliminating thoracic cancers as a source of death, disability, and suffering.
