This MRFF grant supports investment in national research infrastructure to enable high-quality, large-scale health and medical research, with relevance to thoracic cancers through improved data, platforms, and translational capability. It focuses on building and integrating infrastructure such as biobanks, data platforms, AI-enabled systems, and research networks to accelerate innovation and address unmet medical need. The scheme emphasises capacity building, collaboration, and data integration, rather than individual clinical studies. Streams include innovation enablers, digital health/AI, co-investment infrastructure partnerships, and mRNA technology. Projects well suited to this call include shared data ecosystems, genomics or imaging platforms, AI-driven clinical tools, and national research infrastructure that support scalable, multi-disease impact. Applications should develop novel infrastructure or expand existing infrastructure.
