Associate Professor Bryan Chan, BPharm (Hons I), MBBS (Hons I, Uni Medal), FRACP, MMed (Clin Epi), graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with first class honours and the University Medal from the University of Queensland. After being awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, he completed a clinical research fellowship at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Canada, where he was also the Chief Oncology Fellow. During his fellowship, he also undertook his Master of Medicine in Clinical Epidemiology with the University of Sydney.
Bryan is a senior medical oncologist at The Adem Crosby Cancer Centre, as well as at the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital. He is an Associate Professor at Griffith University and the University of the Sunshine Coast and Adjunct Associate Professor with the University of Queensland. His clinical interests are in managing thoracic malignancies with research interests in health service and quality.
