Christopher Cao

Cardiothoracic Surgeon, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Concord Hospital, Sydney University

Christopher Cao is the current Thoracic Representative of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgeons. He graduated from UNSW with First Class Honours and completed his Specialist Fellowship in Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center before joining the Faculty in New York University. He is now a Clinical Professor in Sydney University with over 100 publications in peer reviewed journals and textbook chapters. His clinical interest is in minimally invasive robotic thoracic surgery, and he currently performs the greatest number of these operations in Asia-Pacific.
