Play an active part in the scientific program by presenting your work at the 2024 TOGA ASM!

Please note: Abstract submissions are now closed

The TOGA ASM Local Organising Committee (LOC) is pleased to invite all individuals and teams within the TOGA community to submit an abstract/s for inclusion in the program.

Authors are invited to submit their abstracts by Monday, 6 May 2024 for consideration by the LOC. Abstracts may be submitted on any topic relevant to lung cancer or mesothelioma and must align with one of the submission categories outlined in the Abstract Submission Guidelines.

We reserve the right to withdraw either award if submissions are too few.

All abstracts must be submitted using the abstract submission form by Monday, 6 May 2024. Abstracts received after the given deadline are not likely to be considered.

Before submitting the abstract, please read the Abstract Submission Guidelines to ensure your submission adheres to the guidelines. Submissions that do not meet the requirements of these guidelines will be asked to revise.

Abstracts must fit at least one, and up to three, of the submission categories:

  • Biomarkers, genetics/bioinformatics

  • Oral presentation

Accepted abstract authors will be invited to bring a static poster to be displayed in the meeting venue as well as submit the poster in electronic format for the poster session.

Selected abstract authors may also be invited to present an oral presentation as part of the main program.

All submissions will be reviewed by the TOGA ASM LOC. Each abstract will be scored based on criteria outlined in the Abstract Submission Guidelines. The ASM Convenor serves as the head of the LOC and will make the final decision on which abstracts are accepted. Every effort will be made to accommodate the author(s) presentation preference; however, the LOC reserves the right to allocate the presentation to best suit the program and the overall balance of content.

Notification to Authors: Successful applicants will be notified by mid-June 2024. All correspondence relating to the submission will be directed to the corresponding author who is responsible for the abstract content, and they should in turn be responsible for disseminating information related to the co-authors.

Awards and prizes will be available for successful abstract presentations.

  • Best Poster Award: This award is available to any applicant who presents a poster, with the exception of those deemed by the review committee as lacking novel content or presenting Trials in Progress.
  • New Investigator Award: This is awarded to the best oral presentation by a new investigator.
Please check the eligibility criteria in the Abstract Submission Guidelines and apply via the field in the submission form.
