These neoantigens are then transported into the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), move to the Golgi apparatus, and are subsequently loaded into vesicles. These vesicles travel to the cell surface, where the neoantigens are presented by MHC class I molecules to a T cell receptor (TCR) on a T cell, initiating an immune response.
