Dr Xinxin Hu (BMedSc. MD. MMedicine. FRACP.) is a consultant respiratory physician and interventional pulmonologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH).

He completed his advanced training in respiratory and sleep medicine in NSW before undertaking a dedicated fellowship in lung cancer and interventional pulmonology at SCGH. Concurrent with medical training, he completed a Master of Clinical Epidemiology with a focus on biostatistics and clinical trials methodology.

His clinical and research interests are in lung cancer screening, robotic bronchoscopy, and optimising interventional pulmonology techniques for the diagnosis and management of thoracic malignancy. He has established databases to support research and quality improvement initiatives in lung cancer, interventional pulmonology, and robotic bronchoscopy across NSW and WA.
