Medical Oncologist, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre

Dr Sho Waller completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2014 and undertook physician training in Victoria, obtaining a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Medical Oncology in 2021. He subsequently completed a sub-specialty fellowship in Cancer of Unknown Primary at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

He is currently a Medical Oncologist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and a PhD candidate at the Comprehensive Centre of Genomic Cancer Medicine. His doctoral research focuses on whole-genome and multi-omic profiling of mesothelioma, advanced circulating tumour DNA techniques, and neoantigen prediction, with the aim of translating genomic insights into biomarker-driven and personalised treatment strategies.
