Prof Shalini Vinod (MBBS MD FRANZCR) is a senior staff specialist academic radiation oncologist who specialises in the treatment of lung cancer. She is employed at the Cancer Therapy Centre, Liverpool Hospital, NSW and is a Conjoint Professor at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and Adjunct Professor at University of Sydney.
Prof Vinod is the Lead Clinician for the Liverpool & Macarthur Lung Cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT). She is a board member of TOGA, on the editorial board of Journal of Thoracic Oncology, a member of the IASLC Global Multidisciplinary Practice Standards committee and RANZCR representative for the National Lung Cancer Screening Advisory Group. She has particular expertise in health services research, radiotherapy utilisation, impact of multidisciplinary care, measurement of quality indicators and geriatric oncology models of care.
