Professor Michael Millward was the foundation Professor of Clinical Cancer Research at the University of Western Australia and Oncology Medical Director at Linear Clinical Research, Perth, Western Australia. He is also an adjunct Professor in the School of Biomedical Sciences, Edith Cowan University. He has extensive clinical and research interests in lung cancer and melanoma, immune-therapeutics, and the early Phase testing of new cancer treatments. He has published > 270 original papers and >500 abstracts at international meetings. In 2017 he received the Cancer Council WA Career Achievement Award and in 2025 was made a Life Member of TOGA.
