Associate Professor Joel Rhee is the Head of Discipline of General Practice and the Director of UNSW Academic General Practice Network at the School of Clinical Medicine, UNSW Sydney. He is also the chair of the RACGP Cancer and Palliative Care Specific Interests Network. He sits on the National Lung Cancer Screening Program Clinical Advisory Committee, Cancer Australia Intercollegiate Advisory Group, and Cancer Council NSW Health Services Advisory Committee. He is a co-chair of the Primary Care Collaborative Cancer Clinical Trials Group Living with and Beyond Cancer Engine room. Joel is an experienced mixed-methods researcher with interest in end-of-life care, cancer care and aged care provided in primary care settings. He has authored over 85 peer reviewed publications and has attracted over $32M in research funding as a chief or co-investigator.
