Dr Faria Arefin is the current Medical Oncology Clinical and Research Fellow at the Northern Adelaide Cancer Centre. She obtained her FRACP in Adelaide, completing her specialist training across major South Australian institutions including the Lyell McEwin Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Royal Adelaide Hospital, and Flinders Medical Centre. Dr Arefin has a special interest in lung cancer and is actively involved in clinical research aimed at improving outcomes in thoracic malignancies. She has also been part of a working committee dedicated to reducing patient wait times, contributing to the development of an electronic triaging system, and improving collaboration between respiratory and oncology services.
