Ashleigh Hocking is a Specialist Lung Cancer Clinical Nurse Consultant at Austin Health and the ONJ Centre. She has previously worked in various lung cancer nursing roles at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Royal Melbourne Hospital. Since commencing as the inaugural Specialist Lung Cancer Nurse at Austin Health, Ashleigh has developed a nurse-led triaging model and runs nurse-led oncology clinics, with a focus on TKI management and providing long-term, consistent, supportive care to people living with lung cancer. As a current member of the ANZ-LCNF Education Council, CNSA, IASLC, ITONF & TOGA, she is passionate about prompt diagnostic pathways, patient advocacy and survivorship in lung cancer. Ashleigh completed a Graduate Certificate in Nursing Practice (Oncology & Palliative Care) in 2015 and is currently undertaking a Master of Advanced Nursing Practice.
